LP Farm Store

LP Farm Store, formally Penner Pumpkins, is owned by Lorissa and she is the sole employee. The garden is located near Steinbach. The garden and patch is approx. 3.5 acres and most of the land is used to grow 60 varieties of pumpkins and winter squash. Lorissa started growing pumpkins with her family in 1990 and took over the business in 2017.

At LP Farm Store, vining crops, tomatoes, and peppers are grown on biodegradeable mulch. The farm is spray free, and practices crop rotation and cover cropping to improve soil health.
